She is Divinity has one mission: Female Financial Empowerment
The main justification for the gender pay gap is the jobs women consistently chose. They are more often than not categorized as “low-paying”, but these are essential jobs that include health care, education, critical retail, social services, and food processing to name a few.
Women exceed men in many of these industries, and these tend to be nurturing professions that attract women over men. The solution is often stated that focus should be placed on education and job training to combat the imbalance, but women not only exceed men in all areas of higher education achievement, we also make up 56% of the American workforce.
Even though women are 51% of the U.S. population, the problem is that women are denied access to higher levels of career advancement, including legislative bodies. Without gender diversity in positions of power and influence, ruling men continue to make decisions without equal consideration for both sexes.
Women are held to the same cost of living standards as men, but we are paid less and taxed at a higher rate for simply being female. Pink tax doesn’t just pertain to feminine hygiene products, it also places a 7% up-charge on anything marketed towards females.
The reason women are more likely to live in poverty is obvious. Research consistently shows that women are good for business. When women are actively involved, not only do their families prosper, but society as a whole does too.
The future isn’t female, the present is. Numbers do not lie.
